the story

NINA coasters blend timeless style with practical functionality, making them an essential accessory for any home. The “Rešma” carving adds a layer of sophistication and meaning to these otherwise simple wooden coasters. This minimalist design enhances their versatility, allowing them to complement any decor style, from the ultra-modern to the warmly traditional.

Our artisan Emina puts it best: “When I begin working on the NINA wooden coasters, it feels like I’m translating a piece of history into something both useful and beautiful. With every piece of NINA, there’s a moment where the wood starts to speak, revealing its character. This moment is crucial—as it guides my hands in carving out the “Rešma” patterns that are as unique as fingerprints. Although, the “Rešma” pattern isn’t just ornamental; it’s a narrative, each curve and line drawing connections to our rich cultural past.”

The NINA wooden coasters are a testament to skilled craftsmanship, where traditional techniques meet contemporary design. Each NINA promises not only to protect your surfaces but also to add a touch of artisanal charm to your home. These coasters are perfect for daily use or for special occasions, serving as a conversation starter about the fine art of traditional Konjic woodcarving.

In Switzerland

In Switzerland, we socialise around “aperos” and I have often struggled to make my meat and cheese platters look good. But then Nora came along and changed that forever. Now I’ve got my eye on the Han serving tray…
